We are starting to see some soft snow falling outside. This year the snow has been pretty elusive. We have had a couple light dustings of snow. It sure is pretty to watch fall when you have no where to go. Weatherman says that we are looking to have a very cold weekend I will use that time to cook up some comfort foods.
Wednesday I threw a few things in my new cooker “Ninja Foodie Possible Cooker”. Everything came out wonderfully and the chicken even browned a bit. Recipe to follow it was super tasty and just the right comfort food for a chili night.
Recipe:
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts ( layer in the bottom of crock pot)
1 can of chicken broth ( pour over the chicken)
In separate bowl mix the following ingredients:
2 cans of either cream of chicken or cream of celery. ( I did one can each)
rinse out each can with water and add to bowl.
2 boxes of stove top stuffing (I used the sage type)
once mixed place over the chicken in the crock pot
cook on low 8 hours or high for 6.
Once cooked mix and put on plate and Enjoy!
