Well I have to say planning out a month in advance was very helpful. All and all we did follow the meal plan all but one night we splurged and brought home some take out. This is a big success for us as going to take out only one in a week was good. I was also able to eat left overs every lunch meal and the egg bake was great to have for breakfast at work. Want to look more at the snack options that we could make up and maybe even other breakfast options with yogurt and fruit and some granola. I feel this first week is the right path for us.
Looking forward to tomorrow and setting up the next week for lunches. We are making chili for the Packer game tomorrow. Go Pack Go! I may pick up salad fixings so that I can bring salads to work with the chili. Might look at making up cheese with fruit or something to have as snacks. All and all I am really happy with my progress with the meals thus far. More to come with the snacks and I would still like to get together with others and try some of the freezer meal plans and make up some larger portions.
